Additional Costs Although all our facilities are fully insured, clean dry and secure, you will need to insure your stored goods against loss or damage. As members of the SSAUK (Self Storage Association UK) we comply with their guidelines and one of these is that all goods in storage need to be insured, providing protection against things outside of our control such as extreme weather or fire. Our standard rental prices can’t include a fee for insurance, but we can offer StoreProtect, the fee for which depends on the declared value you need to protect your goods. StoreProtect means an agreement with us to accept an enhanced liability for loss or damage to you goods as described in the StoreProtect Addendum. You may provide your own insurance, but we would need to see your certificate.
SSAUK Membership Standard Assures customers that the members adhere to strict operating principles and the Association’s best practice guidelines We are working with trading standards and other enforcement agencies to keep this facility free from counterfeit and other illicit goods.
